2008 convention

GSCO is pleased to announce the availability for the second year at our auction a 10-day, fully guided trophy desert bighorn hunt on Carmen Island, South Baja, Mexico. Last year’s high bidder, Glenn Bailey, took a great record book ram on his hunt and was most pleased. Glenn was not able to be at the convention, but had his friend and GSCO member John Paul do the bidding for him. John also accompanied Glenn for the hunt and gave highest marks to all aspects (see their photo here). Just as last year, a non-hunter is included at no extra charge. There will be two trophy hunts on Carmen Island offered at auction during 2008. One of those hunts will be at the FNAWS convention in January, and of course this is the second one. Of the two auction hunts, the highest bidder will get first choice of hunt dates. The hunt will be for the 2008-09 season (December-March). This is a great opportunity to hunt Carmen Island, get a great trophy desert bighorn sheep, support conservation, and have great fun doing all three.
